There are several restrictions when it comes to getting a class G security license than the class D security license. The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing is the legal body that processes the applications for security license.
Make sure to read the information supplied in Chapter 493 of the Florida Statutes. It tells all about Private Security, Private investigative, and Repossession services.
Qualifications you must meet before you could apply for armed security training license:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Citizen of the USA or the legal resident or should be granted the authority to serve the country and the Department of Homeland Security by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
- Must supply the authorities with a current residence address. The address must not be a P.O Box.
