To become a security guard, the state of Florida requires students to undergo security guard training. You must finish 40-hours of training from a licensed security school. We offer both unarmed Class D security licensing and armed Class G security license training at the Davie Security Training Group location. Class D Security training is spread over a period of four days. Students also get the option to obtain their AHA (American Heart Association) CPR/AED certification! Security officers who have CPR/AED certification in their hands have better chances of finding more rewarding career opportunities.
