Security D license training starts with enrolling in the right security school to provide you with the proper train and skills to be a security professional. To become a security officer or a security guard in the state of Florida, you need to complete 40 hours of the Florida Security Guard License Certification Course.

Anyone applying for the Class “D” Security Officer License must undergo 40 Hours of security training. The person must also supply certification/proof that the training was finished before submitting the application.
During the security D license training, students learn about various potential miscreants (offenders, criminals, etc.). They also learn about how to form reports, use force without incurring liabilities, and handle emergencies. Additionally, instructors teach them how to prevent accidents and crimes as well as help develop several other skills that are necessary to become a good security d licensed officer.
After you have successfully completed 40 hours of Security D License training and have submitted the required documentation along with state application to the Division of Licensing – a temporary license is issued by the state of Florida. This license gives students permission to work as an unarmed security officer.
