Entrance Admission Requirements

  • To attend the Security D License course and obtain the Florida security license, students must be 18 years of age, no criminal charges within the past three (3) years, of good moral character, and a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Resident.
  • To attend the Statewide Firearms G License course and obtain the Florida armed security license, students must be 18 years of age, no criminal charges within the past three (3) years, of good moral character, and a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Resident. They must also have the Security D License or in the process of obtaining the license or have a Private Investigator C or CC (Intern) License or a Managers License M, MB, or M.A.

  • Completion of these security courses will prepare students entering the private security industry with the fundamentals necessary to work unarmed security and or armed security in the State of Florida and ensuring compliance with Florida Statutes 493.

  • The class D security license is a 40-hour security course that is offered in a 4-day program at 10 hours a day to include 2 hours for testing. Students that miss a day are allowed to make up the training days according to the security school’s schedule availability.
  • The class G armed license is a 28-hour course that is offered in a 3-day program at 2x 10 hour days and a live-fire range day for the firearms qualification. Students are required to attend all 3-days in sequence to ensure success to qualify the gun range qualification.

  • Students are only required to present a photo ID to attend the security training classes.
  • Please bring a pen and notepad for training.

What payment methods are accepted?

  • We accept all major credit cards and cash payments from students. No personal checks are accepted.
  • We will only accept checks from companies that are part of our corporate program, with whom we will invoice the training services.

  • Upon the request of a refund, a 10% processing fee will be applied to the refunded amount.
  • To be eligible for a refund, the request must be submitted through our website at this link within 90 days of the payment date. This request can take a minimum of a week to process.

  • There is no cost to register for the security classes online, but those who do pay online before the start of training will receive a discount.
  • The registration process is required to attend the security school so that we can process the information and lock you in a seat for the security course. We do accept walk-ins the day of the course, but those who registered will get the priority of seating if the class is full.
