Class G Statewide Firearms License

The Class G Statewide Firearms License is the armed security training that allows a security guard or private investigator to work in an armed capacity. This course is a Hybrid program that includes 3-days on Online Virtual Security Training and 1-day range training with our firearms instructors.
How Do our Online Classes Work?
You will be required to attend all hours of live training (we provide flexible time options based on your schedule). You will also be required to click through the slideshow to register your preferred time on screen.
Security questions will be asked at random to ensure that you are present behind the screen for accountability with the state requirements (you can always reschedule your class if you become unavailable).
At the end of each day, you will have to complete a timed exam for the Security D Class, and for the G course, you will have to take one(1) written exam at the end of day 3 Online Security Training.
Our security instructors will walk you through the entire application process for the security licenses and prepare you for the required exams for security licensure.
NB: We do not use Zoom. We have a dedicated application that makes our online training one of a kind.
Who Needs a Security License?
You need a security license if you have intentions of working in these roles
It is illegal to work armed security with a concealed weapons license or with a Law Enforcement HR-218. You must have a Class G License. This G license requires a Class D Security License and or a Class C/CC Private Investigator License.
